Appearance:
please note that all credit goes to the illustrator of this picture, I simply edited it to make it fit my character.
Saizo is a fairly tall man with a slim structure. His face seems to be worn by the
tragedy of a world filled with war. His eyes lost the energy that they had before, now seemingly lifeless. His hair is medium length, and stick straight. Falling across his forehead and down on the other side. The sides jutting out onto his cheeks. He dons the traditional outfit of Konohagakure consisting of a greenvest, metal plated gloves, sandals and a black layer of clothing underneath. He has white strips wrapped around his pants on his left leg and around his forearms ending at his wrist.

Village / Country: Konohagakure no Sato / Hi no Kuni.
Relatives: Saizo has a younger brother, Uchiha Nijū and his parents. He was separated from his whole family during the constant wars. During the scramble to leave his small village they were all separated. He assumes they are dead.
Spouse: None.
Personality:
Armed with infallible dedication to the mission, and a devil may care attitude. His talent to literally rally the troops is a mystery to him. He often inspires others without meaning to do so. There is not a challenge in the world Saizo will not face, he is not afraid of death and it boldly shows. That is to say, he will face any enemy despite there ability or lack of his. The years were quick to shape him into a man. His leadership, determination and general lack of fear make him an ideal shinobi.
A deep sorrow plagues his mind, only showing up in his eyes. The reflection on the past is most often on his thoughts, but never shines through his joyful demeanor. To forget the past would to be to lose a part of himself, the only bond he can share with his lost family is framed on his bedside table. The man most people meet is quick to crack a smile and a joke, and at most times this is how he is truly feeling. Though the past will always be a part of him he knows he must move on, many people have been in the same situation and many of them have put it behind them. His life is complete knowing that there is a possibility his family is still out there, yet to find him.
Towards his students he is a very laid-back teacher, never rushing or seemingly never worrying about anything. For them it is rare to see him excited about anything. Still he remains a generally quiet person, and tends to reside within himself. His love for Konohagakure and the citizen within it would lead him to protect anyone.

History:
A Planned Massacre...
The crimson flames climbed high into the night, daring to ignite the clouds themselves. He ran from the doorway, his eyes seeing the shadowy figures that had taken their places on the rooftops to watch the massacre. His parents had gone one way, him and his brother the other. Wrapped in a white cloth his brother stayed amazingly quiet as they both stole away from the village. He was only the age of seven, his brother a new-born. By the time they were a safe enough distance from the village. The embers seeming as stars from a distance. The once ivory coloured cloth was now stained red from an open wound on Saizo's shoulder. The gates of Konohagakure we nearing view, but his body gave away and he collapsed.
He awoke later in the hospital, his brother nowhere to be seen. Bolting upright he felt a sharp pain in his chest, his shoulder and various other places. The attack had taken more toll than he had noticed last night. A tightly wound bandage went from his shoulder across his chest and wrapped back around. He was fine enough, as he figured. His brother he had to find. Swiftly he cracked open the window, a strand of daylight spilling in onto the floor. Climbing out onto the roof he slowly scaled down into the village.
The Academy...
He never did find his brother, not yet. But he was eventually found by the military police. Two men had come to find him, they had the same black hair and dark eyes that he had. He knew they were from the same clan, and would later learn that the police force was made up mainly of the Uchiha. An orphanage was where he was placed, and a young couple adopted him soon after. This was where he made his only friends. But unfortunately he lost track of them.
He was scheduled to be enrolled in the Academy that very year. He had to adjust to the drastic change in his life. His parents were either dead or lost, and he had already been basically assigned a new set. Instead of taking this negatively he tried his hardest in school, hoping to one day break free and search for his parents. He graduated the top of his class; at any rate, most of the kids in his class seemed to be slackers. He was now well on his way to beginning a not so glorious shinobi life - full of walking dogs and chasing alley
cats.
The Next Step...
The team he was assigned to as a Genin was eventually sponsored to participated in the Chūnin exams. Despite a rather time of missions on his squad, they all did suprisingly well. At the very least he was able to reflect back and enjoy the fact that the tournament was not held in Konohagakure. He was given a very small chance of searching another village. In the time of approaching war, the differences were put off to allow upcoming shinobi the chance to graduate to Chūnin. After every fight he ended up behind a railing watching the other two in his squad. As it turned out he didn't lose a single match in the tournament.
The finals were fairly easy as he thought, in fact he tried harder against the prior opponents. The boy in the final he faced was a poor tactician, and had a thick skull. The obvious traps he set up were easily avoided and after a surprisingly quick round he was given the prestigious rank of Chūnin. In his mind he was that much closer to his goal, and as he saw it. The missions were slightly better.
A Trip For A Clear Mind...
The next step was Jōnin. He wasn't quite ready yet. The reminiscing of the past had been postponed for years of vigorous training and raising the ranks quickly. In a time of faster approaching talk of war traveling was not exactly a great idea, but he needed it. Taking a small job helping out at the local ramen bar, he scrounged up enough money to survive on the road. He was off nearly the day he got paid, and headed to all different villages and landscapes.
It seemed as if he had been everywhere, the huge docks in Kirigakure. The jagged mountain faces of Iwagakure and the endless ocean of sand at Sunagakure. He went on the trip to get away from his past and his worries, but the whole time he was wandering. His eyes were affixed on the faces of passersby, hoping to find his parents. Constantly eavesdropping to hear anything about them, but his search was in vain. He spent his last day near a large waterfall, leading into a wide river. A humble shack was placed on the bank, the only resident was an old man who's only defining characteristic was his warm smile. He would go on to listen to the teachings of this man, until the day when he returned to the house from cutting wood and the man just simply wasn't there. He had left, without saying a word. On the table was a straight bladed sword, in a light wooden sheath.
The Return "Home"
Again he was abandoned and left alone, but his adopted family was probably eagerly awaiting his arrival. The gates welcomed him in again, and he returned back to his neighborhood. An urge to learn about his past, his clan and who he really is was among him. For the next month he constantly visited the Uchiha district, reading up on the past and many great stories. But eventually, he returned to his regular shinobi duties. After many arduous missions, he was appointed to be the rank of Jōnin. With his new knowledge of the world and his past, he finally felt complete. His new passion would be to teach - demanding that he was appointed as sensei of a squad.
During this new period as a Jōnin, he found his brother. A new Jōnin had been appointed, and when the meeting was held to greet the new-comers he immediately recognized him as his brother, Uchiha Nijū. The bond that brothers are supposed to have was not there, in fact after all these years his brother and him fought constantly and rarely spoke. Their mutual interest was to find their parents and piece together their past.
